Making art a functional aspect of daily life

Living my truth through the art pieces I make.
Each piece you see in this shop is handmade by myself. My process is a meditative and reflective time for me. I first realized my passion for woodworking in 2016 when I was studying herbal medicine and botany in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The hair pin manifested in my life when I sought a more sustainable solution to the ever evasive hair tie. It quickly evolved into much more than that for me when I created my first finished piece and began using it to hold up my own bun every day. Being such an eye catching element on the vanity, or nightstand, or whenever I end up placing it, it’s much easier to keep track of and much more pleasing addition to one’s repertoire of hair tools.
I hope that in sharing these reflections of myself you’ll find time to celebrate the simplicity that life has to offer.
